You need to know your target in greater details such as their age, income, gender, lifestyle, values, wants, needs, desires, fears frustrations, Its important for you to know the entire market share and how much of that you would like to capture. You have to know who you want to target and who you want to notice your products and/or services. You wouldn't want to invest a lot with no proven market to sell.

Look at their product, price structure and promotions they are running, where they are advertising and where they sell their products or services. Make sure you offer your customers something unique or something better so that they will have a reason to choose to buy from you instead of your competitors.
  • Have a vision before you start your business. A lot of people tend to just go ahead with a business without even visualizing the outcome. A business involves you, your ideas, your time and energy, your patience, your resources. Once you realize what setting up a business will require from you physically and mentally, you will then be on the right track to success.
  • Goals act as measurable milestones that help us identify what and how to achieve our ultimate desire of financial success, so have a goal. It is important to keep track of everything in order for you to know if you're still headed the right way.
